Alligator Records is sensitive to your concerns regarding the security of using your credit cards to purchase products through the Internet. Safeguarding your privacy and confidentiality is of the utmost importance to us. The Alligator Records Online store uses Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) which encrypts your credit card data while it is being transferred over the Internet, this makes it very difficult for someone to steal your credit card information.
The Alligator Records online store does not store your credit card or ordering information on the Internet server once the order has been shipped and finalized. This strategy, combined with SSL, provides you with an added level of security to ease your concerns.
How to Shop
1. When you find an item you want to buy, just click on its "Add To Cart" button. It will automatically be placed in your shopping cart.
2. At any time, you can empty your shopping cart or take an item out. To remove an item, simply click on the 'remove' checkbox, then click the 'Apply Cart Changes' button to permanently change your Order Form.
3. At any time you can change the quantity or size you are ordering, fill in the new information and click 'Apply Cart Changes'.
4. When you're done shopping and have everything you want, click on the 'Apply Cart Changes' button and then click on 'Checkout Now'.
How to Pay
Alligator Records accepts the following: Mastercard, Visa, and Discover.
The charge for your order will appear on your credit card bill as "Alligator Records".
Also, we now accept payments via PayPal.
Standard U.S. Shipping is free. Due to increased postage costs we have been forced to raise our Non-U.S. shipping rates. Non-U.S. rates are as follows:

You may combine as many product lines as you like within an order. Our various product lines do not always ship from the same warehouse. Therefore you may receive several shipments for a single order.
With respect to orders being shipped to an Illinois address, we are required to collect sales tax at the rates in effect at the time of shipping your order.
Orders shipped to an United Kingdom address will be charged a 20% VAT.
Order Confirmation Number
Upon completing your order you will receive a confirmation number. We generally can look up your order with just your name but please have the order number ready in case we need it.
Processing an Order
Your order of in stock merchandise will arrive in 10-14 days, unless you have selected RUSH delivery. We will notify you if any item can not be shipped within 30 days and you will be given the option to cancel your order. Orders received over the weekend and on holidays will be processed the following business day.
How to Change Your Order
Alligator Records processes your orders very quickly. If you find that you have made an incorrect order, please notify us immediately by sending an e-mail to [email hidden]
. If your order has not yet been processed, we may be able to correct it. However, if the product has already been shipped, we will be unable to change any portion of your order.
Alligator Records will notify you of any upcoming promotional opportunities and new product releases which interest you. If you wish not to receive these special mailings, please make sure to uncheck the box that reads: "I wish to receive special Alligator Records mailings", which is located at the bottom of the page where you fill in your shipping and billing address. If for some reason you forget to do this, you can easily remove yourself from this mailing list by unsubscribing at http://www.alligator.com/join/. Alligator uses this information solely for inhouse promotion and NEVER makes it available to third parties.
Returns and Exchanges
If you have received damaged, defective or incorrectly shipped merchandise, please return the product within 30 days of receipt following the Return/Exchange Instructions below. We will gladly replace the merchandise without additional charge, or provide you with a full refund.
If you are dissatisfied with your purchase and the merchandise is unopened, we will be happy to accept a return or exchange it for you if returned within 30 days of your receipt of the product. Original shipping and handling charges are not refundable and you will be responsible for all costs associated with return shipment. No COD returns will be accepted.
If your order is a gift order and the gift recipient wishes to return or exchange it, they may do so for any reason within 30 days of receipt. It must be returned to us with the outer wrapping intact. Upon our receipt of the returned product, we'll be happy to give credit for the cost of the item(s) returned and any associated sales tax to the credit card account originally charged. The sender will only be responsible for the return shipping costs. At the time of the exchange request, our Customer Service Department will be happy to help the gift recipient with a replacement order. Please read Return/Exchange Instructions.
