SINGER JANIVA MAGNESS TO PERFORM FOR U.S. TROOPS
IN KUWAIT AND IRAQ IN APRIL!

 

Award-winning blues singer Janiva Magness, whose yet untitled Alligator debut CD will hit stores on June 10, 2008, will join soul/blues singer Bobby Rush and others in Bluzapalooza, the first blues concert tour to go to a war zone to entertain U.S. troops. Presented by Armed Forces Entertainment, the tour will begin April 1 in Kuwait before heading into Iraq. This inaugural Bluzapalooza tour is made possible with the help of Armed Forces Entertainment (AFE), The Blues Foundation, Blind Raccoon, Blues Revue, Gibson Guitars, Alligator Records, NorthernBlues Music, Delta Groove Records, Blind Pig Records, Telarc Records, Sony Corporation and Ruf Records.
