What Love Will Do, the Alligator debut from powerhouse soul and blues vocalist Janiva Magness, will be released on June 10, 2008. Magness, a two-time Blues Music Award winner for Contemporary Female Artist Of The Year, will be touring the country in support of the CD. Possessing a rich, soulful voice and absolute command over her material, Magness is an incredibly gifted performer who leads her audience through a range of emotions, from the deepest sorrow to overwhelming joy.
