Eight Alligator Artists Receive Nine 2019 Blues Blast Award Nominations

Blues Blast magazine has announced the nominees for the 2019 Blues Blast Music Awards. Eight Alligator Records artists received a total of nine nominations. Tommy Castro & The Painkillers received two nominations. The Nick Moss Band Featuring Dennis Gruenling, Elvin Bishop, Shemekia Copeland, Toronzo Cannon, Lindsay Beaver and Christone "Kingfish" Ingram each received one. Joe Louis Walker, Giles Robson & Bruce Katz's acoustic blues album Journeys To The Heart Of The Blues received one.

Fan voting to determine the winners begins July 1, 2019 and continues until August 16, 2019 at http://www.BluesBlastMagazine.com.

The Blues Blast Music Awards are presented by Blues Blast magazine. Awards will be announced on September 13, 2019 at ceremonies to be held at The Tebala Event Center in Rockford, Illinois.
