NEW ORLEANS’ WWOZ HOSTS WORLD PREMIERE FOR CURTIS SALGADO’S TRUTH BE TOLD VIDEO

On Monday, May 10, one of America's greatest roots music radio stations, New Orleans' WWOZ, will host the worldwide premiere of award-winning vocalist, songwriter and instrumentalist Curtis Salgado's new video for his original song, Truth Be Told, across all of their social media platforms. The smartly-written, zydeco-flavored, foot-stomping party song was recorded at Dockside Studio in Maurice, Louisiana, where the video was also filmed. It features accordion legend Wayne Toups singing and playing along with Salgado -- the man NPR calls "an icon" with a "huge voice." Truth Be Told is featured on Salgado’s new album, Damage Control.

No Depression says, "Truth Be Told, with the help of singer/ accordionist Wayne Toups, blurs the lines between zydeco and Tex-Mex with a smidgen of Doug Sahm stirred in."
