This 2-LP 25th anniversary edition of HEAVY LOVE is limited edition. Only 1500 individually numbered copies were pressed on pink & purple marbled vinyl, housed in a gatefold sleeve.
Buddy Guy's 1998 album HEAVY LOVE is another one of his fine blues-rock records. Besides two songs of his own material he is covering classics from Willie Dixon ('I Just Want to Make Love to You'). Tony Joe White ('Did Somebody Make a Fool Out of You'), ZZ Top ('I Need You Tonight') and many more. It is heavier compared to many of his other recordings, but he still finds his way back to the blues.
